The Namibia Qualifcations Authority (NQA) is established by an Act of Parliament, Act 29 of 1996 and is set up to administer a National Qualifications Framework, amongst other objects.
 
A. JOB TITLE: Officer: NQF Registration
NUMBER OF POSTS: 3
DUTY STATION: Windhoek.
 
DUTIES OF THE INCUMBENT WILL INCLUDE:
Reporting to the Manager NQF Registration, the incumbent will, inter alia, be responsible for
the following:
  • Execute activities and logistical arrangements pertaining to Standard Setting
  • Research, evaluate and critique standards submitted for NQF registration
  • Provide information regarding approved standards internally
  • Prepare reports on standards
  • Prepare standards into required formats
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • B Degree (NQF Level 7) in area of Human Development or Education with at least 3 years experience in these fields.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Experience in the field of education quality assurance would be a definite advantage
  • Some knowledge of training, development and/or education would be advantageous
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking
  • Good communication (written & verbal), presentation skills and report writing skills.
  • Research Skills
  • Service Orientation
  • High level of ethics
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite)
